Your Medication

The doctors of Tri-Cities Gastroenterology may prescribe medication for you to alleviate symptoms, prepare you for procedures, or to help you heal. We have listed some of the medications we may prescribe below. They are organized according to purpose rather than alphabetically. We have provided external links to some of the manufacturers of the medicines so you may easily find more information about the drugs. Tri-Cities Gastroenterology does not guarantee the accuracy of information found on other sites. If links to other sites have changed, please alert our Administrative Assistant so we may update the information.

Special notes:

Alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, coffee, and cigarettes are G.I. tract irritants.

When buying over-the-counter drugs, check ingredients or ask a pharmacist about those containing aspirin, Salicylates, or ibuprofen.
